Some headache types are typically categorized as kinds of primary headaches, but are not as common. They are distinguished by distinct characteristics like the duration of pain that is unusual or that is related to a particular exercise.

While they are generally thought to be primary, any of them could be a sign of an underlying illness. These include:

  3. Changes in sleep patterns or absence of sleep
  4. Poor posture
  5. Foods that were skipped
  6. Stress
