Another sign that is early of RA is stiffness of joints. The stiffness can manifest in just one or two joints, usually on the fingertips. It may develop gradually, but can last for many days.
Alongside the stiffness that is felt in certain joints, an overall sense of stiffness throughout your body could be a warning indication of RA.
This kind of stiffness generally occurs after a person have been sitting for a long period of time. The reason for this is because stiffness in the morning, an oblique symptom of people suffering from RA.
5. Joint tenderness
Joint tenderness which affects feet and hands is often a first indication of RA.
In the hands, the joint at both the middle as well as at the fingertips’ base could be tender when pressured or when moving.
The feet’s joints near the bottom of the toes could be sore. The soreness can cause people walking on heels, or to lift their feet when walking.
6. Joint pain
Joint pain that is felt in the wrists, fingers and feet is a symptom of RA. Inflammation can make the lining the joint more thick and results in the production of extra joint fluid.
Both of these causes place pressure on the capsule that covers the joint. They also irritate the nerve endings contain it, which can cause pain.
