Three innovative and easy-to-prepare recipes to surprise this Christmas

One of the most anticipated seasons of the year for Colombians has begun, not only because it’s family time, but also because it’s the perfect excuse to taste from the most traditional flavors to new dishes.

From the hand of expert cooks, infobae colombia has compiled three unusual recipes to conquer the stomachs of your family, friends and partner this Christmas with innovative and easy to prepare dishes.

Created by chef Adrián Gerboles, of the Hilton Bogotá hotelthis recipe has like main ingredient tomatoan option described by the cook as ideal for the December festivities in Colombian homes.

– 2 tomatoes.

– 8 olives.

– 2 boiled eggs.

– 400 grams of fresh tuna or two cans of tuna.

– Mayonnaise.

– Olive oil.

– Lemon juice.

– Coriander.

– Cooked white rice 200 grs.

– Chopped onion 100 grs.

– Grain mustard 40 grs.

1. Start by making a cross cut in the skin of the tomato and blanch it for 10 seconds.

2. Cut the tomato, slice the skin and remove the pulp from the inside. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. In a bowl, add the fresh tuna, chopped eggs and chopped olives with the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, rice and chopped cilantro.

4. Mix the preparation well and fill the tomatoes. If you want to eat them cold, put them in the fridge.

If you are looking for a more structured dish that represents the traditional flavors of Colombian Caribbean coastand in which they mix ingredients such as corozo and snapperthe executive chef of the Hilton Cartagena, Henry Fontalvo, offers the recipe ‘Pesca a la sal’.

– Fish (snapper or grouper is recommended) to taste.

– White wine.

– Garlic.

– Oregano.

– Onion.

– Olive oil.

– Basil.

– Egg whites.

– Salt.

– Heart.

1. Marinate the fish with white wine, garlic, oregano, onion, olive oil and basil.

2. For the salt layer, beat the egg whites until stiff in a mixer, adding salt like a meringue. Apply this layer to cover the fish and put it in the oven at 200 degrees for half an hour.

“Preparing a dessert has never been easier”is the slogan of this recipe created by the famous Bogota bakery ‘Luisa Postres’.

– 1 cup and 3/4 of cream cheese (400 grams).

– 1 cup and 1/2 of arequipe (1 large box of 400 grams).

– Sweet macarena cookies.

– 1 refilled glass of coffee, cold and without sugar.

– Chocolates to taste (chips, chocolates, etc.).

1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese well on low speed until smooth and creamy.

2. Add the areteam until it changes color. Put aside.

3. Put the coffee on a plate where the cookie can dip.

4. Select each cookie, soak it a little in coffee to keep it from falling apart. Arrange it at the base of the mold, making a layer.

5. Spread a layer of cream cheese and spread over the cookies, using a spatula or a pastry bag, making large peaks. Add chocolates to taste.

6. Repeat the previous operation until the mold is filled. You can finish with biscuit or cream. Leave to rest for at least four hours in the refrigerator. Decorate to taste.
